Toddler Dance

Once you have decided to let your child dance, it is important to carefully choose a dance class. Your choice of a dance teacher is critical. Most importantly, choose a teacher that your child can look up to as an example of a good dancer, while having fun taking dance lessions.

The required wardrobe of toddler dance clothing will be determined by the type of dance being taught. Special dance shoes will be required for most dance styles, including toddler ballet shoes for ballet and toddler tap shoes for tap. Your dance teacher will probably have a preference for clothing, such as a black leotard with pink tights for a ballet dancer.
